The National Economic Association (NEA), the Association for Economic Research of Indigenous Peoples (AERIP), and the American Society of Hispanic Economists (ASHE) announce their eighth annual summer conference on August 1-3, 2024. This year’s theme is: Building Power and Resilience in Our Communities. The conference will be hosted by Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia with generous support from the Economic Policy Institute, the Institute for Women's Policy Research, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, the Roosevelt Institute, and the Washington Center for Equitable Growth. The Freedom and Justice Conference is an interdisciplinary social justice conference that attracts a small group of scholars who are dedicated to discussing pressing economic problems and their solutions for communities of color.
