The National Economic Association (NEA) and the American Society of Hispanic Economists (ASHE) announce their fifth annual summer conference June 14-16, 2018. This year’s theme is: Freedom and Justice: Structural Violence, Power Relations, and Community Resources. The conference will be hosted and co-sponsored by Salish Kootenai College*, a Tribal College in Pablo, Montana assistance from the Center for Indian Country Development at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. The Freedom and Justice Conference is an interdisciplinary social justice conference that attracts a small group of scholars who are dedicated to discussing pressing economic problems and their solutions for communities of color.
